Move With Marla is a Texas-based company and was founded by Marla Martin, businesswoman, and mom of three. The short version of this according to Marla is: “I was managing a storage facility at the time, and after hearing the stories of our customers, I recognized the need for a dependable moving service for people moving in or out of their storage unit.

Now, more than 11 years later, Marla runs a full-service moving company. And in a male-dominated business, many clients are surprised to learn that Move With Marla is owned and operated (mostly) by a woman. ‘It can be difficult; however, it is also very rewarding,’ says Marla. ‘And many people choose us for that very reason. They are surprised and impressed, and with an 80% woman customer base, it really shows how women support other women!”
